Following her career as a classical ballet dancer, Maggie completed the prestigious L’art de la Pâtisserie program at the French Pastry School. Together with her sister Jess, she launched Maggie Austin Cake in 2010. From President Obama’s White House Christmas celebrations to Hollywood parties to royal weddings, she is honored to work with illustrious clients all over the globe. Maggie is passionate about instruction. She teaches sugar flower and cake design to students all over the world, sharing her commitment to each artist's unique process. For Maggie, workshops connect a community of designers who share her deep love of the craft.
