Semi-Private Introduction to Gumpaste

We are delighted to offer semi-private intensives that make the most of each minute. With a streamlined curriculum and a maximum of three students per class, Maggie is at your side as you immerse yourself in design techniques, explore your signature style, and make lasting connections with fellow sugar artists.

About the workshop~

Gumpaste is for everyone!

A workshop for beginners that will leave you feeling like a pro. Learn how a soft blob of simple ingredients can be transformed into lifelike, everlasting sugar flowers with Maggie's gentle and encouraging approach to instruction.

What you'll learn~

Using Maggie's (perfect) homemade gumpaste recipe, make a stunning peony with hydrangea and leaves. You'll learn the three basic methods of sugar flower construction, how to use petal dust to transform your work, and stress-free arrangement techniques.

Tuition is $525

10am to 4pm each day

The Classroom at Studio A is located in Old Town Alexandria, VA 22314

*Please note that the Classroom is located on the second story and is accessible only by stairs.

All supplies and materials provided for in-class use.
