About the workshop

That (wow!) photo? It's a student design. This class is all about runway-inspired textiles. Decadent textures and a whimsical color palette combine for a design that is unique to you and truly haute couture. 

How does Maggie do it? The magic is in the wafer paper. Plus a unique (and unexpected!) medium that is soooooo beautiful.

Spend two days at play with Maggie and create your own faux two-tier masterpiece using Paper & Paint techniques that are both delightfully easy and stunningly gorgeous. No fondant, no gumpaste, just FUN! Perfect for designers of all levels. 

Tuition is $735

10am to 4pm each day

Maggie Austin Studio is located in Old Town Alexandria, VA 22314

All supplies and materials provided for in-class use and lunch will be served. 

Cancellation Policy:

• While we are unable to issue refunds, we will do our best to place you in a future workshop if you need to cancel. Just give us a call or send an email to discuss.
• We reserve the right to cancel the workshop at any time due to weather emergencies, illness, venue availability, or other circumstances beyond our control. If we cancel the workshop, we will issue you a full tuition refund.
